Chickenfoot - Up Next ~ www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GzW2g…
When I arrive, at the Pearly Gates
Gonna have, my swim suit on
Flip flops, and a pair of shades
And ask the Choir if I can sing along
I'll Bow down and kiss the ring
I'll Show respect, the best I can
I'll be myself, gotta show the man
Just exactly who I am
microphones? chess (or the chess like on star trek where there are lots of different levels! )?
with your interpretation, Ruthie!
i bet if i looked again i'd see even more things! thank goodness for abstract art!
is usually much more than meets the eye at first look.
I did an oil some years ago and still see different things.
Great heavens… I imagine this is what we would’ve got if we crossed Jackson Pollock with a handyman or something.
Having never really experienced abstract art, I can barely make head nor tail out of the whole artwork, but it is truly fascinating to see how multi-layered and unconventional the piece really is.
Can one really see something this out-of-place when we pass on to the next plane?
What’s with the fancy patterns on those nails?
I see a ball as well rolling toward it, so are they pins and not nails?
What’s with the streaks of shooting stars and flaring rainbows in the background?
There is certainly much to be pleased and puzzled about in this piece, so full credit where it’s due Joe. A really fascinating bit of work here.
I really didn't have any ideas about it as I was creating it.
I just play with colors and shapes until it looks good to me.
Abstract art isn't meant to be defined or have some kind of structure, it's meant to challenge and stimulate the people who view it. I say one part looks like X, five people will say it looks like Y, and others will say it looks like Z. That's the point of it, and it's a point you communicated nicely.
And let's not forget to mention, clearly, your playing 'round with shapes and colours is working rather well in your favour. I can only hope you keep finding it in yourself to continue.
You been doing such super nice art very cool.
Lovely details and crisp colors, friend.
